Biographical / Historical
H2L2 is a Philadelphia architecture firm founded in 1907 by Paul Cret as The Offices of Paul Philippe Cret. In 1923, John Harbeson, William J. H. Hough, and William Livingston became Cret's partners. In 1925, Roy Larson joined the firm. After Cret's death in 1945, the other three partners followed Cret's wishes and removed Cret's name from their masthead and continued as Harbeson, Hough, Livingston & Larson.
