Scope and Contents

The Biddle Manuscript Collection includes correspondence of various prominent individuals, including President James Madison, educator and politician Josiah Quincy, French diplomat Jules Cambon, renowned classicist and educator Edith Hamilton, and the John and Louise Boit. The collection also includes three reproductions of caricatures of Thomas Jefferson.
