Biographical / Historical
Andrew M. Jones was a 19th century Philadelphia iron merchant located at 500 Chestnut St, South Wharves, and later 2022 Delancey Place. The Jones family owned the Hanover Furnace and Mary Ann Forge in Burlington County, N.J. Although it is not clear exactly how, the Jones family was associated with George Willing, a merchant at the end of the 18th century, and Charles Willing, two-time mayor of Philadelphia in the 18th century.
